The 2025 St. Johns Summer Swim League Season is quickly coming to an close, and our League Champs Meet is right around the corner

We’re excited to share key details to help you prepare for this fun and meaningful end-of-season event.

🏆 Championship Meet Schedule

The Championship Meet will be held at The Bolles School over two days:

• 11 & Older Swimmers
  📅 Friday, July 11
  🕔 Meet starts at 5:00 PM


• 10 & Under Swimmers
  📅 Saturday, July 12
  🕤 Meet starts at 9:30 AM

Look for a Parent Meet Letter with additional information about parking, team tents, timelines, and volunteer roles as we approach the meet dates.

The window for Meet Entry is rapidly approaching! Please follow your team's instruction for both declaring your swimmer and signing up for volunteer roles.

👕 Champs T-Shirts – Order Online by June 30

T-shirt design and sales are being led by the St. Johns Stingrays, and this year’s Champs shirts are a great keepsake!

🗓️ Deadline to Have before Champs: June 30, 2025
📦 Shirts can be delivered or picked up from Williams Athletics before Champs if ordered before the deadline. 
⚠️ A limited number will be available for sale at the meet on July 11–12—advance orders are highly recommended to ensure availability.

💙 2025 League Philanthropy – The Shawn D. Delifus Foundation

Our league is proud to continue supporting the Shawn D. Delifus Foundation, which empowers underserved youth through aquatics, mentorship, and character development.

Donation buckets and posters will be provided to each team. To add a little competition to our giving, the team that raises the most per swimmer will be recognized after Champs!

🎓 Henry S. Langenfelder Scholarship – Apply by July 1

The Henry S. Langenfelder Scholarship Program was established to recognize graduating seniors who have been active participants in the SJSSL and demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership, and sportsmanship.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Currently a member in good standing with SJSSL
• Participated in SJSSL for at least 3 of the last 4 eligible years
• Graduating from high school in 2025
• Accepted to a college, community college, or career school

Selection Considerations:

• High school academic record
• Team contributions including sportsmanship and leadership
• Quality of application essay responses
• Minimum of 2 letters of recommendation from coaches, teachers, parents, or officials

Applications must be received by July 1, 2025.
